At PJ Financial we are Certified Public Bookkeepers & Financial Credit Consultants with over 35+ years of experience working with individuals, independent contractors, start-ups, non-profits and small/medium size businesses. We are looking for dynamic and independent self-starters for an exciting opportunity as contract F/C Bookkeepers. This is for any rising person wanting to enter into the bookkeeping profession but need an opportunity to develop your skills. At PJ Financial we work hard but also value having a work-life balance. We’re looking for forward thinking people that are excited about working within an organization that provides strategic services for our clients while staying on the cutting edge of technology. This is a remote, work from anywhere position and all skill levels are welcome to apply. The position is part-time in the beginning and hours will grow as more clients are added. The position will include complete bookkeeping for some clients, training and set-up on QuickBooks Online, payroll and/or other business services that we offer. The prospective clients will contact us initially and you will be assigned to work on their account as part of their financial service team. This position requires frequently responding to inquiries from clients via email and phone and will require a dedication to getting the work completed on-time and in a professional manner. This unique position will allow you to enjoy a work-life balance that includes: • A Flexible Schedule – Hours are flexible but client meetings and training's must be conducted during normal business hours. • Working From Home – Approximately 100% of the work is performed from a home or remote office. • High Earnings Potential – Compensation is incentive based, but is also commensurate with a professional level position. Earnings are scalable based on your performance and the volume of work you choose to take on. • Career Development – You can work part-time or full-time based on the projects you choose to accept to work on. We have training programs that are accredited for continuing professional education and as you develop your skills and certifications you will be able to increase your hourly pay rate from $25 per hour to as high as $45 per hour! • Training and Expectations After you complete the required initial training, you will be expected to continue ongoing training to effectively service our clients, including computer-based, one-on-one and group training. You will be supervised and mentored by our experienced staff to help you service your assigned client accounts. Your workload (and related incentive based compensation) is expected to start out low and to increase based on: • Your ability to learn quickly • Successful performance evaluations & service milestones • The size and availability of client workload Minimum workload after six months is expected to be 80 hours per month. Job Requirements • HS Graduate or GED Equivalent • 1-year office or administrative experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile for the client • Extremely organized and time conscious to team appointments & client meetings • Independent work ethic and ability to resolve problems on your own with an entrepreneurial mindset • Self-starter – always looking for ways to improve processes and add value to clients • Separate, dedicated home office space with high-speed internet connection and dedicated phone line • Candidates must be available to work during business hours of Monday - Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm in your time zone All candidates are invited to attend our online Open House to learn more about working for PJ Financial Group.
